The Doulton® Ceramic Undersink Supercarb candle provides excellent removal of chlorine, cryptosporidium, cysts, gardia and micro-organisms from your tap water keeping the essential minerals intact.

First stage: The first stage consists of Doulton supercarb ceramic which provides genuine sub-micron filtration. The cartridge reduces fine particulate matter, bacteria, cysts and turbidity.

 

Second stage: The incorporation of silver locked within the ceramic structure gives enhanced bacteriostatic and self sterilizing properties, preventing the growth of bacteria.

 

Third stage: An inner core of activated carbon block removes chlorine and organic compounds

What’s the difference between Supercarb and Ultracarb?

They both have a ceramic outer shell and carbon core but the ultracarb has a lead removing media, this is advisable if you want extra protection or live in an older property.
